BUFFER TECHNOLOGIES OFFERS NEW AR-15/M16 HYDRAULIC BUFFER
Buffer Technologies has announced an agreement with Enidine Inc. to distribute that company’s new AR-restor buffer for the collapsible stock versions of the AR-15 or M4. The AR-restor is a hydraulic recoil buffer designed to reduce felt recoil, improve accuracy and suppress bolt bounce. The product addition comes at a time when the popularity of the AR-15 (M4) rifle is growing due to increased military and law enforcement use. Although the weapon is known for its reliability and versatility, its performance can be affected by multiple firing modes, ammunition loads and the addition of other after-market accessories. Enidine is a market leader in hydraulic energy absorbers for the industrial, aerospace and defense industries. U.S. and NATO forces use its hydraulic recoil buffers for automatic weapons. The AR-restor has easy drop-in replacement installation and requires no weapons modifications. In addition to improving accuracy and performance, the buffer helps suppress bolt bounce, control fire rate and protect optics. Buffer Technologies is a Missouri-based manufacturer and distributor of tactical weapons accessories for military, law enforcement and shooting sports. Its signature products include patented recoil buffers for most automatic pistols and rifles, the MagCinch dual-magazine system, and TangoDown covers and grips for military assault rifles. DPMS OFFERS FREE FLOAT CARBON FIBER TUBES
DPMS maintains its tradition of providing shooters with new and innovative products by introducing the Acarbon Fiber Free Float Tubes, a tactical alternative to the traditional handguards and aluminum free float tubes. These new carbon fiber free float tubes from DPMS stay cooler than the standard aluminum free float tubes and weigh 40% less, providing you with a unique alternative to the traditional handguard. The carbon fiber utilized in these free float tubes works in two ways. Internally, the unidirectional carbon fiber increases the strength and stability of the tube. Externally, the bi-directional carbon fiber provides a textured look and feel to the free float tube. Additionally, an internal layer of fiberglass prevents corrosion between the aluminum tube and the carbon fiber, ensuring a long lasting lightweight alternative tube. Two lengths are available; standard and carbine. Standard length tubes measures 12.625 inches and weigh 0.55 pounds while the carbine length tubes measure 7.25inches and weigh 0.35 pounds. All tubes, standard and carbine, have a 2 inch diameter, a wall thickness of roughly .09 inches and include the hard anodized barrel nut.
