<p>The P365 was <a href="http://www.sigsauer.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">SIG Sauer’s</a> big splash at the 2018 SHOT Show. The market rewarded SIG’s thought process by making the P365 one of the best selling handguns in the U.S. every year since. The P365 is as thin and compact as many single-stack designs while offering double-stack capacity. The key to the SIG P365’s success is its high cartridge capacity to size ratio, minimal operating controls, above average trigger, superior iron sights, adaptability, and relentless reliability.</p>

<p>A hotter niche in the handgun market right now than slim, subcompact 9mm semi-autos would be tough to name. SIG loaded the P365 with features such as XRAY3 day/night sights, a 10-round flush fit magazine with optional 12-round, 15-round, or 17-round extended magazines also available.</p>

</div></div></div>
</div></div>

<p>SIG is renowned for not resting on its laurels. Always pushing the envelope, SIG is either introducing new variants of already successful weapons or bringing new designs to life in the quest to scratch everyone’s new gun itch. The P365 pistol product line-up serves as proof of this statement with 24 models of the P365 presently available from the factory. The P365 has solidified SIG HQ in Exeter, NH as ground zero in the current handgun universe.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">TEAMING UP</h2>

<p>Benefitting all handgun connoisseurs <a href="http://www.wilsoncombat.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Wilson Combat</a> and SIG have decided to work on another collaboration. This one involves SIG’s P365. Yes, the Wilson WCP365 is recognizable as a SIG P365, however internal and external enhancements turn it into a Wilson Combat product. Wilson Combat starts with the SIG P365 and modifies it in a way only Wilson Combat can with eight different Wilson WCP365 models available. The specific model featured here is the WCP365X. The WCP365X combines a Wilson Combat XL grip module with a P365 slide. Based on the P365 XL-sized grip module, make sure no 10-round P365 magazines get into your WCP365X carry gear, as they will not seat properly.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img decoding="async" width="1024" height="768" src="https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/2a-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-46868" srcset="https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/2a-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/2a-300x225.jpg 300w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/2a-768x576.jpg 768w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/2a-750x563.jpg 750w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/2a-1140x855.jpg 1140w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/2a.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption class="wp-element-caption">Wilson Combat WCP365X (top) shown with SIG P365XL Spectre Comp and standard P365. (Todd Burgreen)</figcaption></figure>

<p>The WCP365X is defined by laser “starburst” stippling on the Wilson Combat lower module. Wilson X-Tac front and rear slide serrations provide purchase for manipulating the WCP365X’s diminutive slide. A serration pattern is also present on top of the slide between the Wilson Combat Battlesight rear and red fiber-optic front sight. This helps maintain crisp sight picture by minimizing glare between the front and rear sight.</p>

<p>The Wilson Combat option of a direct milled slide with a <a href="http://www.trijicon.com/" target="_blank" data-type="link" data-id="http://www.trijicon.com/" rel="noreferrer noopener">Trijicon RMRcc</a>  mounted was taken advantage of. The most obvious personal defense handgun equipment upgrade over the last 10 years has to be red dot sights. Trijicon has led the way with their rugged ultra-reliable red dots. Yes, there is a plethora of red dots out there now. However, do not forget Trijicon still sets the standard that all others are judged against.</p>

<p>An important nuance of using a red dot sight on a personal defense handgun is to have co-witnessing iron sights. Anything electronic can fail, no matter how rugged. Wilson Combat has taken care of that with their iron sight arrangement. Another advantage of the co-witnessing iron sights is instant zero verification of the dot. If something is askew, it‘s noticeable.</p>

<p>The Wilson Combat slide and barrel is finished in black DLC finish. The SIG X-Series straight trigger was incorporated. This trigger features a pull weight measuring approximately 4.25 pounds. The SIG X-Series straight trigger offers a 90-degree break for better geometry and is less likely to pull the sights to the right or left during the trigger press. One of the keys to the P365X’s accuracy is how it offers the same trigger pull every time. Overall, the SIG trigger is an asset with its consistency. Anyone that familiarizes themselves with it will not be disappointed. Wilson Combat also offers a <a href="https://grayguns.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Grayguns</a> trigger along with a spring modifications as an option.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">FIRST IMPRESSION</h2>

<p>My first exposure to the WCP365X was at a media event with Wilson Combat. Multiple steel targets, plate racks, and dueling trees stretched from 7 yards out to 125 yards in front of the Wilson Combat tent. Wilson Combat’s Tressa Bohannan just kept handing me magazines during my initial experience with the WCP365X. After about a hundred rounds, I sheepishly realized I had to give way to other participants.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="768" src="https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/4-1-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-46869" srcset="https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/4-1-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/4-1-300x225.jpg 300w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/4-1-768x576.jpg 768w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/4-1-750x563.jpg 750w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/4-1-1140x855.jpg 1140w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/4-1.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption class="wp-element-caption">Wilson Combat WCP365X (middle) between SIG P365 (left) and SIG P365XL Spectre Comp. (Todd Burgreen)</figcaption></figure>

<p>The Wilson Combat modifications to the P365 center on enhancing the handgun’s interaction with the user, especially in terms of placing multiple rounds on target accurately, efficiently, and consistently. This offers a tactical advantage. The Wilson slide’s mass ad shape is engineered to aid in increased muzzle control for double taps or longer strings of fire. The pistol’s already low bore axis is further enhanced with the extended beavertail and undercut trigger guard relative to the shooter’s hand. These ergonomic enhancements minimize muzzle flip and provide a very stable sight picture no matter how many or how rapidly rounds are fired.</p>

<p>The WCP3656X had me thinking how expertly applied tweaks and attention to detail from an operation like Wilson Combat benefit even an already solid design such as the SIG P365. Previous Wilson Combat collaborations involving larger frame weapons involved subtle slimming refinements to the pistol’s grip. Not so with the P365. Due to its already bantam size, the discerning eyes at Wilson Combat decided to strategically enlarge the grip with an ever-so-slight palm swell and other nuances that make a big difference in the ergonomics department. Let me elaborate.</p>

</div></div></div>
</div></div>

<p>Feeling good in your hand does not automatically mean the grip is giving you a proper fit. While feel is important, proper fit is crucial. Think about how custom rifles and shotguns are contoured to their end user. The same applies to handguns, especially one wearing a red dot optic. Proper grip starts from the holster and sets the stage for the most efficient use of a red dot-equipped handgun. The majority of aiming any pistol, red dot or not, is achieved through kinesthetic awareness. Kinesthetic awareness is the body’s knowledge of the relative location and engagement of tension in its parts. This especially pertains to red dots via proper grip and tension applied to the pistol as soon as possible in the draw phase. Grip is also the key for tracking the red dot up and down on target during multiple round drill. The Wilson Combat WCP365X with RMRcc performed larger than its diminutive size thanks to Wilson Combat’s enhancements.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="768" src="https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/1-2-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-46871" srcset="https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/1-2-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/1-2-300x225.jpg 300w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/1-2-768x576.jpg 768w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/1-2-750x563.jpg 750w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/1-2-1140x855.jpg 1140w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/1-2.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption class="wp-element-caption">Wilson Combat WCP365X with RMRcc mounted. <h2 class="wp-block-heading">EDC</h2>

<p>The WCP365X became a constant carry companion in lieu of my normal SIG ROMEOZero Elite red-dotted SIG P365XL Spectre Comp. A P365 was also mixed in for comparison purposes. SIG Sauer Elite and Wilson Combat ammunition led the way in testing with both FMJ and JHP loads used. My T&amp;E was conducted at <a href="http://www.echovalleytraining.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Echo Valley Training Center (</a><a href="http://www.echovalleytraining.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">EVTC</a><a href="http://www.echovalleytraining.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">)</a>, a private range located near Winchester, VA, where many local and federal law enforcement tactical team members train.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">PERFORMANCE</h2>

<figure class="wp-block-table"><table><tbody><tr><td>&nbsp;</td><td><strong>Avg. FPS</strong></td><td><strong>Avg. 5-Shot Group</strong> <strong>25 yards (in.)</strong></td><td><strong>Best 5-Shot Group</strong> <strong>25 yards (in.)</strong></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Wilson Combat 115gr XTP&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></td><td>1098</td><td>2.33</td><td>2.25</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Wilson Combat 147gr XTP</strong></td><td>915</td><td>2.75</td><td>2.5</td></tr><tr><td><strong>SIG Sauer 115gr V-Crown</strong></td><td>1054</td><td>2.5</td><td>2.33</td></tr><tr><td><strong>SIG Sauer 147gr FMJ</strong></td><td>857</td><td>2.75</td><td>2.66</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>

<p>Shooting from sandbags produced 1-inch groups at 15 yards with the WCP365X with multiple ammunition types. T&amp;E moved quickly past rudimentary bench or stand &amp; deliver efforts at EVTC. The Trijicon RMRcc red dot assisted in engaging targets at close distances with the red dot easy to pick up rapidly. Point shooting with the WCP365X is still very feasible when using the RMRcc’s window as a ghost ring if forced to react spontaneously to a threat. Drills consisted of drawing from concealment to see if the RMRcc dot was easy to obtain when operating in haste. Various scenarios engaging targets from static positions behind cover or while on the move were also utilized. Magazine change drills were done for the dual purpose of getting a feel of manipulating the WCP365X with the RMRcc installed and making sure the red dot was seamlessly picked up after the pistol was reloaded and brought back on target.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="768" src="https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/6a-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-46870" srcset="https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/6a-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/6a-300x225.jpg 300w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/6a-768x576.jpg 768w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/6a-750x563.jpg 750w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/6a-1140x855.jpg 1140w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/6a.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption class="wp-element-caption">Example of accuracy with WCP365X at 15 yards. (Todd Burgreen)</figcaption></figure>

<p>Users of the WCP365X equipped with the Trijicon RMRcc will find that they no longer have to switch back and forth between target and sights; something that grows more challenging as we age. Handgunners with a red dot-equipped weapon can now do as nature intended –&nbsp;focus on the target. Both eyes open is a must when working with a red dot. The red dot will be there. Moreover, because the use of a red dot is far easier than aligning two separate pieces of protruding steel, users will find they can take accurate shots beyond what was considered realistic with iron sights, especially with a compact handgun with short sight radius like the P365. Hitting steel at 75 yards is very possible with the WCP365X.</p>

<p>The ease of everyday carry with the WCP365X is what sets it apart from most personal defense weapons. The WCP365X is a compact handgun that pushes the performance envelope while still maintaining a real-world application. The Wilson Combat WCP365X increases the effectiveness of a compact concealed carry handgun beyond what most thought capable.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">FEDERAL AMERICAN EAGLE ANNOUNCES REVOLUTIONARY SYNTECH AMMO</h2>

<figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="700" height="408" src="https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/001-96.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-34062" srcset="https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/001-96.jpg 700w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/001-96-300x175.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></figure>

<p>Federal Ammunition is pleased to announce a whole new concept for range ammunition with introduction of American Eagle Syntech: A smoother way to shoot. Shipments of this new product are now being delivered to dealers. American Eagle Syntech is the first range-specific ammunition designed to reduce fouling and extend barrel life with a high-tech polymer bullet coating. Combined with specialized clean-burning powders, your gun will stay cleaner, longer, so you can shoot more—and shoot better. The exclusive Catalyst primer provides the most reliable, consistent ignition possible. The Syntech system offers target shooters the most advanced range ammunition available and the perfect way for handgun owners to protect their investment from the inside out. The features and benefits include the polymer-encapsulated Syntech bullet that prevents metal-on-metal contact in the bore, eliminating copper and lead fouling, while extending barrel life as well as an exclusive primer formulation that provides reliable, consistent ignition. Clean-burning propellants also minimize residue and fouling which significantly reduces the required frequency of firearm cleaning. The absence of a copper jacket minimizes splash-back on steel targets, making it perfect for target practice or competition. The new rounds also have less perceived recoil. The American Eagle ammunition is available in 9mm Luger 115 grain, 40 S&amp;W 165 grain and .45 Auto 230 grain. <h2 class="wp-block-heading">IWI US LAUNCHES HIGHLY ANTICIPATED TAVOR X95</h2>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="700" height="392" src="https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/003-102.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-34064" srcset="https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/003-102.jpg 700w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/003-102-300x168.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></figure>
</div>

<p>IWI US, Inc., a subsidiary of Israel Weapon Industries (IWI) Ltd., proudly debuts the compact, modern designed TAVOR X95 bullpup. IWI US introduced the X95 select-fire bullpup to law enforcement customers last year and now our civilian customers can buy a commercial version. The X95 is a modern, modular bullpup design emulating all the familiar features of the TAVOR but on steroids. The TAVOR X95 platform incorporates a tri-rail forearm covered by three removable vented rail covers. The TAVOR style trigger guard is modular and can easily be converted to a more traditional trigger guard with pistol grip. The charging handle has also been relocated closer to the shooter’s center mass, and perhaps the most significant departure from the TAVOR is the ambidextrous magazine release, located to a more traditional AR-15/M16 location on the X95. Like the TAVOR SAR, the X95 will be available in a 16.5” 5.56 NATO and .300 Blackout and 17” 9mm Luger Parabellum. All models feature interchangeable cold hammer forged (CHF) barrels manufactured and engineered to IWI’s demanding specifications. Conversion kits in .300 Blackout, 5.56 NATO and 9mm will also be available. The TAVOR X95 in 5.56 NATO and .300 Blackout uses standard AR-15/M16/STANAG magazines and is supplied with one black Magpul Gen III PMAG. It will be available in Black, Flat Dark Earth and OD Green. Watch future issues of SAR for a full test and evaluation of this new rifle. The price for the TAVOR X95 is $1,999.00 and the Conversion Kits are $899.00 in 5.56 NATO and 9mm and $499.00 in .300 Blackout. <h2 class="wp-block-heading">DANIEL DEFENSE RELEASES FIRST CHOICE 300 AAC BLACKOUT AMMUNITION</h2>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="700" height="280" src="https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/002-105.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-34063" srcset="https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/002-105.jpg 700w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/002-105-300x120.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></figure>

<p>Daniel Defense, engineer and manufacturer of some of the world’s finest firearms and accessories, has released the first caliber of high-quality ammunition it will offer under its First Choice brand: 300 AAC Blackout. The company also has plans to expand its offerings to include the popular 5.56mm and 7.62mm calibers in the future. The new Daniel Defense 300BLK (7.62x35mm) Subsonic Ammunition is designed for target shooting and/or home defense. It is manufactured using the highest-quality components available, including durable brass cases and precision 220-grain Lapua Scenar-L OTM bullets, the first choice for serious target-shooting competition.</p>

<p>They’re passionate about the launch of their new 300BLK ammo, as it represents a whole new era for their brand—one where they can now ensure that the ammo that goes into their firearms is as high quality as the firearms themselves. To ensure the highest levels of quality, each and every First Choice round stamped with a “DD” must undergo and pass a thorough inspection to ensure critical dimensions that affect accuracy are met before it leaves the Daniel Defense factory. The Daniels have a long-standing philosophy on seconds and blemished product, “If it’s not perfect, it doesn’t go to market.” Daniel Defense 300BLK Subsonic Ammunition retails for $50.00 for a box of 30 rounds. It is currently for sale only directly from Daniel Defense online at <a href="http://www.danieldefense.com" data-type="URL" data-id="www.danieldefense.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.danieldefense.com</a>.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">LIBERTY SUPPRESSORS INTRODUCES THE NEW CENTURION SUPPRESSOR</h2>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="700" height="467" src="https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/004-98.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-34065" srcset="https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/004-98.jpg 700w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/004-98-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></figure>
</div>

<p>The Centurion is everything you want in a compact 9×19 pistol suppressor. It is designed to provide excellent suppression on 9mm handguns, dry or wet. They designed it to be taken apart since 9mm tends to run a little dirty, this by default makes it suitable for 22LR as well. If there was ever a suppressor that is perfect for the nightstand, the Centurion would be it. The length added to the host firearm is only about 6 inches so it fits really well with virtually every 9X19 handgun that has ever had a threaded barrel put in it. They made this suppressor 34% shorter than their outstanding Mystic X suppressor by reducing the footprint a full 3 inches from the silencer module. This makes for a very compact platform that handles very well. This suppressor also performs very well in rimfire calibers as well as the 300 Blackout carbines. Short, light and handy, this suppressor works well in many different roles. The Centurion breaks down into 3 basic parts (not including the mount) and due to the wavelok cut tube, can only be assembled one way. This makes reassembly a snap and virtually foolproof. The core is stainless steel, which makes it acceptable to being cleaned with harsh chemical solvents, stainless steel pins and ultrasonic applications (electrical tape on the Cerakoted end will protect it from the vibratory cleaning action). The outer tube is made from titanium so the entire suppressor weighs just 7.9 ounces. This unit comes standard with a 1/2-28 booster assembly installed and all of the Mystic X mounting solutions are compatible as well. This suppressor is sure to be a range favorite as well as being right at home on the nightstand at the end of the day. <h2 class="wp-block-heading">NEW AR9 9MM PISTOL CALIBER FROM WILSON COMBAT</h2>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="700" height="467" src="https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/007-62.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-34068" srcset="https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/007-62.jpg 700w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/007-62-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></figure>
</div>

<p>The Wilson Combat AR9 9mm pistol caliber carbine was designed from the ground up as the new standard in pistol caliber carbine reliability. The use of common 9mm service pistol magazines makes it an ideal choice for patrol, home defense and cost-effective<br>tactical training.</p>

<p>Wilson Combat engineers have designed three unique AR9 lower receivers with last round bolt hold open that are compatible with the most popular 9mm service pistol magazines from Glock, Beretta and S&amp;W. The Wilson Combat AR9 closed-bolt blowback operating system is soft shooting and reliable with a wide variety of 9mm loads and exhibits flawless feeding with all common pistol bullet shapes, including hollowpoint and +P tactical ammunition. The AR9 bolt hold open ensures reliable lockback on empty with your pistol’s factory magazines. The AR9 proprietary bolt carrier group with heavy duty claw extractor and plunger ejector is tuned for exceptional reliability. These new billet machined aluminum receiver models also accept standard AR accessories like furniture, triggers, charging handles, buttstocks and optics, and incorporate an integral trigger guard and flared magwell for fast reloading. The AR9 series of carbines has multiple unique patent-pending features that make it unique to the 9mm carbine market. The AR9 is also an optimized suppressor host with minimal gas blowback and enhanced accuracy over other designs. Wilson Combat carbon steel match-grade button-rifled 1-10” twist 9mm barrels ensure that the AR9 meets our stringent quality and accuracy requirements. The Wilson Combat AR9 can be ordered with your choice of Glock 17, S&amp;W M&amp;P or Beretta 92 magazine compatibility and configured as a pistol, carbine or short barreled rifle (all NFA rules apply). The AR9 is offered with your choice of fluted or non-fluted barrels in multiple lengths and various Wilson Combat designed muzzle devices. Not simply a converted AR-15, the Wilson Combat AR9 has been specifically designed for superior reliability and maximum accuracy, while retaining the familiar handling and controls of the AR platform. The AR9 is available with your choice of pistol magazine compatibility, barrel length, custom Armor Tuff colors and other accessory options to suit your specific needs. <p>TacticalWalls continues to change the way people think about home firearms storage. Known for its Hidden in Plain Sight philosophy, each product in the TacticalWalls line is disguised as a fully functional piece of home décor &#8211; such as shelves, mirrors, marker-boards and much more. Now, users will have even greater security and easier accessibility thanks to TacticalWalls new Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) locking models. The RFID locking mechanism will be offered as an optional alternative to the existing magnetic lock on select TacticalWalls models. With the release of the new RFID models, firearms owners can access their guns even faster in an emergency. Opening up the hidden compartment is as easy as swiping the preset RFID card in front of the locking mechanism. Each unit will come standard with two key cards and one programming card used to match the key to the proper unit(s). Firearms owners can also order additional RFID cards if needed. One card can also be set to open multiple units, granting access to each firearm staged throughout the home. Another unique feature of the new RFID-locking models is a programmable Tattle Tale function. When turned on, the Tattle Tale function will start beeping after the unit has been left open for a period of time. This important safety enhancement helps firearms owners keep guns from unwanted users by reminding them when the compartment is left open. This feature can also be disabled if preferred. If the battery on the RFID locking mechanism runs out of power, the unit automatically defaults to an unlocked-but-still-closed position. <p><strong>Vortex Introduces New Tactical Riflescope</strong></p>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="700" height="325" src="https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/001-29.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-30012" srcset="https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/001-29.jpg 700w, https://smallarmsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/001-29-300x139.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></figure>
</div>

<p>Vortex Optics’ new Razor HD 5-20x50mm riflescope was designed from the ground up to meet the needs of military and law enforcement precision shooters. Packed with more than a dozen unique performance and optical features, the Razor delivers superior ranging and accuracy at extreme distance. With its 35mm one-piece tube machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, the Razor offers 36 mrad/125 MOA adjustment range for windage and elevation; enough to accommodate for bullet drop at the most extreme distances. The optically-indexed lenses are precision-ground from XD optical glass and fully multi-coated with Vortex’s advanced XR coating to deliver the highest level of edge-to-edge brightness, resolution and clarity obtainable with today’s optical technologies. A unique, multi-element apochromatic (APO) objective lens virtually eliminates chromatic aberration across the entire field of view so targets can be more clearly defined at longer distances &#8211; and camouflage patterns more easily spotted and identified. Ranging and accuracy at extreme distances is simplified with their proprietary new EBR-2 mrad reticle. Laser-etched-on-glass and placed in the first focal plane, the reticle enlarges and shrinks with the target when zoomed so the scale remains in proportion at all magnifications. In addition, the subtensions on the EBR-2 mrad reticle match the subtension markings on the turrets to make range calculations and shooting adjustments faster and more accurate. Turret screws are ultra-precision machined from silicon-brass alloy and fitted with hardened steel turret pads that interface with a hardened steel ring on the erector tube. This patent-pending friction reduction system eliminates deformation, wear and galling of the erector screws. Vortex’s proprietary RZR (Rapid Zero Return) Zero Stop mechanism stops the elevation turret from dialing below sight-in range using a rotational-blocking steel design (patent pending) that’s mechanically more reliable and accurate than other systems that block the vertical movement of the turret. The RZR Zero Stop is fully sealed from the elements &#8211; even when being set. Delivers precise return to zero after temporary elevation corrections have been dialed without the need for the user to count clicks. With generous 3.9 inch eye relief through the entire 5-20X range of magnification, absolutely waterproof/dustproof/shockproof construction, and a hard-anodized matte Stealth Shadow Black finish, the Razor HD 5-20mm riflescope truly represents the state-of-the art in combat-ready rifle optics. For more information on this as well as the full line of top quality optics please contact them at Vortex Optics, Dept. SAR, 2120 West Greenview Drive, Middleton, WI 53562. Phone: (608) 662-1088. <p>The Mako Group, a leader in marketing and distributing weapons accessories, announces their new line of Remington and Mossberg shotgun stocks. All three types of unique stocks, (1) folding, (2) folding collapsible and (3) shock absorber collapsible, are solutions to the market’s numerous requests. Each stock is designed to be very tough and robust, with superior features not found anywhere today. First there is the Tactical Folding Buttstock with an Embedded Adjustable Cheek Piece for the Remington 870, UAS870, Mossberg 500/590 and UAS500, with a MSRP of $160. This is a completely new innovative, ground-breaking design for shotgun stocks. The folding joint can be mounted to fold on either the left or right side, with clearance for trigger use. To fold the stock, simply push the button and a spring locks the stock in the folded position. To unfold, just pull on the stock. In addition, the stock has a slim and low profile, and the rubber buttplate reduces recoil and slippage. Next is an AR-15/M4-style Folding and Collapsible Buttstock for the Remington 870, AGRF870-FK, Mossberg 500/590 and AGMF500-FK with a MSRP of $207. This product includes The Mako Group’s best-selling GLR16 buttstock which folds (as described above), has 5-collapsible positions, comes with an M4-style aluminum buffer tube, and includes two battery-storage compartments &#8211; one in the GLR16 and one in the pistol grip. Finally, the AR-15/M4-style Collapsible Buttstock with Shock Absorber for the Remington 870, AGR870-FKSB, Mossberg 500/590 and AGM500-FKSB with a MSRP $255. This product also includes The Mako Group’s best-selling GLR16 buttstock (as described above) and has a unique, one-of-a-kind, shock-absorber system which reduces the actual recoil. Combined with a 5-position collapsible stock, the product is the only one of its type and price point in the market place today. The pistol grip allows a natural fighting stance hold on the shotgun and is slightly angled to counter recoil. In addition, there is improved muzzle control performance during fire and a storage compartment for batteries or a cleaning kit. No gunsmithing is required. All of these stocks are manufactured by FAB Defense in Israel. Please contact them for more information at The Mako Group, Dept. SAR, 74 Rome Street, Farmingdale, NY 11735. Phone: (631) 880-3396. <p>After a tremendous amount of research and testing by Bill Wilson and the Wilson Combat team, they are excited to announce the availability of their custom AR platform rifles chambered in 6.8 SPC caliber. The 6.8 SPC (6.8x43mm) was developed by the United States Army Marksmanship Unit to offer superior downrange lethality over the 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington in an AR pattern service rifle with minimal loss of magazine capacity and a negligible increase in recoil. When built to the level of quality and precision Wilson Combat has achieved, the 6.8 SPC is also capable of outstanding accuracy and reliability. In their match-grade, Spec II chambered 16-inch barrels, the 6.8 SPC is capable of pushing a .277 caliber, 85gr bullet to over 2,900 fps. The 110gr bullets easily achieve 2,500 fps with factory loaded ammunition. Appropriate hand loading can achieve even higher velocities and enable the use of heavier projectiles up to 130 grains, which dramatically improves terminal ballistics over a 5.56 Nato/.223 Remington at long range. This added ballistic performance makes the 6.8 SPC perfect for home protection and SRT/SWAT teams. The 6.8 is a truly ideal hunting round for medium to heavy game and turns the AR into a serious hunting rifle. It’s also available in the Tactical Hunter Lightweight and M4 formats, all further customizable by users. Contact Wilson Combat, Dept. SAR, 2234 CR 719, Berryville, AR 72616 for more information. Phone: (870) 545-3618. Fax: (870) 545-3310. Visit their website: www.wilsoncombat.com.</p>

<p>When handguns travel they need first-class protection from thieves, thoughtless baggage handlers and Murphy’s Law. Collectors, sportsmen and law enforcement professionals can now hit the skyways and byways fully armed and completely at ease. CaseCruzer has them covered with the CaseCruiser Universal 5-Pack Gun Case. The base and top are soft on the inside, hard as nails on the outside. Polyethylene foam absorbs the blows of rough roads and turbulent air flights. When closed, the lid secures handguns with convoluted, egg-crate style foam. Civilians who travel to shooting ranges and gun shows will be equally pleased: prized collections can now be locked down in an indestructible yet lightweight vault and its only 11.9 pounds when empty. This field-tested carrying case can store up to five handguns and 10 magazines in custom-cut Polyethylene foam cavities. Foam plugs keep smaller handguns snug. There are also cutouts for optional desiccant, a hygroscopic substance that induces or sustains dry conditions. The waterproof case is buoyant up to 69.9 pounds and is also dust and sand proof. For more information on this new Pelican case and their other fine cases, you can contact them at CaseCruiser, Dept. SAR, 4665 State Street, Montclair, CA 91753. Phone: (800) 882-4730. <p>MGM Targets, the industry’s leading manufacturer of steel reactive and stationary targets, is proud to announce the release of the MGM Switchview tactical lever. The MGM Switchview is a small, lightweight lever that clamps around the power adjustment ring of variable power scopes. Made from anodized 6061/T6 aluminum, the Switchview allows the user to quickly and easily adjust the scope’s power setting with a push or pull of the lever. The MGM Switchview is ideal for law enforcement, military or competition shooters, working equally well on telescopic sights for AR-15 to long range bolt actions. Only slightly higher than most target style turrets, the lever is easy to use without being overly intrusive, and enables the user to change magnification settings in only a couple of seconds. Even while wearing gloves or in slippery or wet conditions, finding the lever and adjusting the power setting is quick and easy. Whether you are glassing a large area for a target and then zooming in to make the shot without losing your sight picture, or you need to transition from far targets to “in your face” targets in a hurry, the MGM Switchview will get to the magnification setting you need quickly and easily. The MGM Switchview is available for a variety of variable power scopes, comes standard in anodized black with a MSRP of $59.95, but can be special ordered in just about every color of the rainbow. For more information you can contact them at MGM Targets, Dept SAR, 17891 Karcher Road, Caldwell, ID 83607. Phone: (208) 454-0555. Fax: (208) 454-0666. Website: www.mgmtargets.com.</p>

<p>DM Premium Firearms, manufacturers of firearm accessories, is pleased to introduce DM Premium Optics 3x and 4x Magnifiers for use with all holographic and red dot optics. DM Premium Optics has taken a unique approach to magnifier design by manufacturing a high quality magnifier using the best quality components at a competitive price point delivering a blend of reliability, high performance and value. DM Premium Optics start with a 6010 aluminum housing with a non reflective hard anodized black finish. Magnification is accomplished using optic quality coated lenses resulting in the highest light transmission possible. These lenses have up to 20 coatings per lens depending on location in the magnifier. The final assembly uses a rubber eye relief installed and then the unit is fully sealed and nitrogen filled to eliminate fogging. These features ensure a high quality magnifier for a lifetime of use. Another feature of the DM Premium Optics Magnifiers is the mounting systems. Both the 3x and 4x magnifiers come complete with the DM Premium Adjustable Mounting System; a sturdy tactical style, 6 bolt 30mm mount that features windage adjustability in order to align the magnifier with all optics on the market. Many low end magnifiers use solid mounts that are impossible to align to the variety of optics available. DM Premium Optics mounts are manufactured from 6061 aluminum with a non reflective hard anodized black finish. Also supplied is a DM Premium Optics 6061 aluminum riser block to use with higher mounted optics. For information please contact DM Premium Firearms LLC, Dept.
